Belmonte

Since discovering Belmonte around 2011, David Moreno has kept a special bond with the town, its landscape, its architecture and its people. Much of the work in this exhibition was made in Belmonte, drawing inspiration from its surroundings and traditional architecture as well as from the identity and memory of the place.

That relationship extends to his work as an architect: in Belmonte he has designed and built a house in the old town, conceived in respect for and dialogue with the village's traditional architecture.
